This was first issued in a 2" thick box and advertised as a $26 value. In 1983 they switched to the 1" thick box used for their campaign packs and decided on a different price, which was actually lower for awhile. All boxed items include an "x" after their catalog number.  Older versions of the set have green artwork covered rulebooks. It's rare to find a boxed set, especially the big box, with all four corners intact or the lid not caved in, but it has plenty of room inside to hold several modules and a fistful of dice. RQ softcover rulebook, 120 pages.
Second Edition errata sheet (RQ2 only).
Basic Role-playing, 16 pages. The beginners guide to their generic system. Great for new players with examples and scaled down charts. It ends with a short scenario.
Apple Lane,  32 pages. Cleaned up and better typeset version of the 1st edition. The William Church troll pic and one of the initiation passages didn't survive the editing.
Fangs, 16 page version of FOES. Dozens of pregenerated monsters.
8 Player & monster sheets.
Six polyhedral dice. Low quality plastic and often thrown away.
